The Lombard tealight tower was designed to showcase the elegance and precision of borosilicate glass. The tealight is housed in a glass cup that nests securely in either end. When the tower is flipped, an alternate profile is revealed.
Design challenges included designing a form that showed enough visual differentiation when flipped, working within material tolerances to prevent breakage in production, and ensuring that the curved glass did not compromise the tealight's stability.
